8x8 Work

8x8 Work is a communications application with voice, video, chat, and web conferencing.
Note: After installation, the app may show an auto-update error on each login if file ownership is set to root; changing ownership of 8x8 Work.app to the logged-in user resolves this, or auto-updates can be disabled via the Profile Policies setting in the 8x8 Admin Console.
Self-service install
To install 8x8 Work on your work computer:
- Navigate to the Fleet Desktop icon in the OS menu bar and select My device.
- From the Self-service tab, navigate to 8x8 Work and click Install.

Uninstall 8x8 Work
Run the following command in your terminal to uninstall 8x8 Work:
